Claims and Protections[edit]

Ironclad Vanilla does not have a traditional /claim feature. Instead, players protect their builds and containers using the /lock system. Locks allow you to secure doors, chests, and other containers so that only authorized players can interact with them according to the lock type.

Lock Types[edit]

Private Lock
  • Only the owner can use it. No other player can open, deposit, or withdraw.
Deposit Lock
  • Other players can only put items into the locked container. They cannot take items out.
Display Lock
  • Other players can view the contents of the container but cannot add or remove items.
Public Lock
  • Any player can use the container (open doors, interact), but the block itself cannot be mined.
Withdrawal Lock
  • Other players can only take items from the container. They cannot deposit items.

How to Use Locks[edit]

  • Lock Command

Use /lock followed by the type and then right-click the door, chest, or container you want to lock. Example: /lock private Trusting Other Players Some locks allow you to trust other players so they can access your locked container even if it is not public. By typing the command /bolt trust

Tips for Using Locks[edit]

  • Organization
  • Use different lock types for different purposes, such as Deposit locks for community chests and Private locks for personal storage.
  • Lock your doors and chests to prevent theft.
  • Server Etiquette
  • Respect other players’ locked areas. Do not attempt to break or bypass their locks.
